2011
Our bid to win the shield for four successive seasons came to dramatic hault, as Hingham clinched victory by just two shots. Chris was struggling to obtain 12 players for the match and gave Hayley here first competitve start. The team was still strong enough to win the event but a lot of inconsistancy in some of the triples cost the team dearly. Mikey and Jack had a better last game but gave little support in the first two matches. Andrew, Jon and Brian had a good day finishing unbeaten and were without doubt the best triple on the day. Pat, Mary and Mark started the first two matches well especially the second with a 16-2 win. But they came undone on the tricky mat 1 last match and only managed to score just two shots against Watton. Hayley, Andrew and Deb struggled throughout and this showed with an average of just six shots a game. Overall a dissapointing result as 122 shots were scored last season which is 17 shots less this year. Hingham's 39 shots against Watton and with the eighteen shots scored against Mann's block in the first session proved vital as they lifted the shield for this year.

2010
This year's challenge shield was tense if not anything else, with Watton setting the pace early on with shots of 41 and 49 against Diss and Hingham they looked odds on to take the title for the third time. With Wymondham only acheiving shots of 34 and 36 against the same opponents knew a massive task was on their hands to overall the 20 shots difference between them. With an understrength team though this was even more of a task but what was to come was just a terrific display by the team as all triples went out and won. Carolina, Mary and Chris crushed the Watton side 19-0 which undoubtedly put a big step towards them winning the tournament for a third time, while Carolina had an excellent match. Eddie, Shirley and Debbie were again in form througout the day and won 13-6 in the last game against Terry Crockett's block. Sylvia, Phil and Joe won 7-5 and Mikey, Mark and Peter weighed in with an impressive 13-5 win against Di Quadling's triple. This win makes it three in a row out the four times in the competition and are now just one behind Diss on the amount of times they have won the tournament, a great acheivement considering four players were missing from the line up this year. A big thanks goes to Peter's wife Philomena for stepping in and also to 15 year old Mikey who played only his second game for the club and played very well.

2009
Yet again Wymondham were the dominante force in this competition and showed no signs of failing to the retain the shield as they scored 127 shots to second place Watton's 97. Hingham finished third with Diss Last. With no Shirley or Bill Francis for Diss they lacked the strength and depth that won them the title so many times. With Mann in uncompromising mood he racked up wins of 18-0, 12-4 and 18-1. The familiar triple of S. Archer, S. Foster and D. Phillips were also in good form winning there games 9-5, 10-7 and 13-3. New comers to the club B. and M. Barker made good impressions on there first competitve debuts for the club.

2008
This year was Wymondham's second oppourtunity to win the shield after Diss had won it the year the before and did so by some twenty shots to spare.
