1st Round

The first round draw was not kind to Wymondham as they were drawn away to Thorpe marriott. Wymondham where not looking forward to the prospect beacuse they knew this was a new and challenging venue. But they knew that they had a stronger squad and this proved to be true with them winning it on the last session 14-10 on points.
They needed to win both games on the last session beacuse there shot difference was a lot more negative than Thorpe Marriott's. This left Thorpe Marriott stunned after the match, which once again put Wymondham on the map.

2nd Round

There reward for beating Thorpe Marriott in the first round was a home draw against Connaught "B" where they completely dominated the match winning 22-2 on points. They only lost one match which was by 5 points to 6.
Overall Wymondham showed that they are stiff opposition at home to anyone dispaying good shot selections over the 6 end games.

Quarter-final

Wymondham found out that they were to play First Bus away and they knew that this was going to be another tough test for them but had confidence from there first round win at Thorpe Marriott.
As this was Wymondham's first ever match against them, they managed to push First Bus all the way to last session but were eventully beaten 14-10 on points. This was a good test for Wymondham as there were some tricky lines to master on slighty faster mats than there used to playing on. The one big posistive from the six end games were the triple of P.Saunders, S. Foster and D.Phillips who yet again displayed why they are so tuff to beat, winning all three matches. On there first game they managed to pick up a three on the last end to win 6-5 and there last game they beat county skip B. Oatway 6-4.

Overall a very good showing from Wymondham in their first season in the Norwich cup.
