2011/12 

Roger Steele, Andrew Jackson and Peter King lifted the Keith Banks memorial triple trophy at Hingham on Sunday 16th October. The group stages somehow saw them against the other Wymondham triple of Billie Barker, Mary Fisher and Melvyn Barker where they won 13-8. Two more wins against Hingham 8-7 and Watton 10-7 was enough to see them into semi's although losing against the Rumsby's of Forncett by 7-9. The semi final saw them against Watton's second triple composed of Brian and Maggie Dibble where they cruised to victory. The other semi final saw favourites Connaught A crash out against Banham which set up a Wymondham v Banham final. The final ended in dramatic fashion as Banham looked on course for victory leading 10-5 with two ends remaining but the never say die attitude of Wymondham stuck with them till the final bowl as they snatched victory away from Banham as they collected two three's to lift the trophy!
